Privacy Policy

Mobirithm ("we", "us") is a motorcycle ride marketplace operated by Zevion, connecting passengers with independent riders in Rwanda and expanding across Africa. This policy explains what information we collect through the app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We collect information you give us directly and information generated by using the service:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, country, and city, provided when you sign up.
• Rider verification documents: for riders only — national ID, riding permit, and driver's license, uploaded for compliance review. These are stored privately and are never shown to other users.
• Location data: pickup and destination points you enter, and — only while a trip is active and only between the matched passenger and rider — live GPS position, so each side can see the other's progress.
• Trip and payment information: fares, bids, trip status history, and cash-payment confirmations. Mobirithm currently facilitates cash payment between passenger and rider; we do not process card payments ourselves.
• Ratings and reports: reviews you leave, and any safety or dispute reports you file.
• Device and usage information: basic technical data (browser, device type) needed to operate the app reliably, including on low-bandwidth connections.

• To match passengers with available, verified riders and operate the bidding marketplace.
• To show each side of a trip the other's live location for the duration of that trip only.
• To verify rider eligibility (identity, permit, license) before allowing them to accept rides.
• To calculate earnings, platform commission, and maintain a record of completed trips.
• To investigate safety reports and disputes, and to enforce these terms.
• To send you trip-related notifications (match confirmed, rider arriving, payment due, and similar).

Live location sharing is limited to the two people on an active trip and stops being shared once that trip ends. Riders control when they go online and share their location; a rider who is offline is not tracked. We do not sell location data to third parties.

• The other party on a trip sees the information needed to complete it safely (name, rating, vehicle plate, live location during the trip).
• Mobirithm administrators can review rider verification documents, trip records, and filed reports as part of platform safety and support.
• We use Supabase (database and authentication), MapLibre/OpenFreeMap (map display), and LocationIQ (address search) as infrastructure providers; they process data on our behalf under their own security commitments, not for their own purposes.
• We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

We retain account and trip records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, safety, and dispute-resolution needs. Rider verification documents are retained while the rider account is active and for the period required for compliance purposes.

You can review and update most of your profile information directly in the app. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us using the details below, subject to records we're required to keep for safety, financial, or legal reasons.

Mobirithm is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the version number and effective date at the top of this page.
